Eugene Giesinger is the head chef and owner of one of Bronte’s most-loved cafes, Eugene’s. Along with his designer partner Natalie Byfield, the pair transformed the former storefront into a fully restored Art Deco haven in mid-2012.
Eugene is classically trained in the old-school of master chef and apprentice.
Having worked in the restaurant industry as a professional chef for over 20 years, most notably at Michelin starred 'Pied A Terre' in London. Giesinger, a native Sydney sider opened the cafe wanting an outlet where his passion for locally sourced Australian produce and high quality food at a reasonable price could flourish.
