Our Story

Eugene Giesinger is the head chef and owner of one of Bronte’s most-loved cafes. Eugene transformed the former storefront into a fully restored Art Deco haven in mid-2012. 

 

Having worked in the restaurant industry as a professional chef for over 20 years, most notably at Michelin starred ‘Pied A Terre’ in London. Giesinger, a native Sydney sider opened the cafe wanting an outlet where his passion for locally sourced Australian produce and high quality food at a reasonable price could flourish.
